Explore the world
See awe moving across the world.
AweBreak is built around a living world map. As sunrise and sunset moves across the Earth, shared moments appear from the places where people are experiencing them.
In Live View, you can see recent moments near the sunrise and sunset edges of the world. In Explore Time, you can move backward through earlier hours and days to rediscover moments from other places and times.
Each shared moment becomes part of a growing global view of light, place, and connection.

Authenticity
Real moments shared as they happen.
AweBreak is built around authentic experiences—not manufactured perfection. It’s a moment of perspective. A reminder that the world is larger than whatever is occupying our attention right now. A sense that, despite the distance between us, all of us live beneath the same moving light.
The goal is simple: help people experience something genuine.
Capturing information such as time and location helps place each contribution in its real moment and location.
Community
A global community built around awe.
Some people will come to AweBreak to share the sky outside their door. Others will come simply to pause, look outward, and experience a moment happening somewhere else in the world. Both belong here.
No news, no politics, no algorithms, arguments or notifications. Awebreak is a place in a person’s day where nothing is being demanded from them.
Our mission
To create a global community that captures and shares authentic moments of awe as sunlight moves across the world in real time.
