Experience the world through moments of light.
AweBreak is being designed around one of the few experiences shared by people everywhere: the daily movement of sunlight across the Earth.
Capture the moment
Contributors can share authentic sunrise and sunset photos and videos from where they are experiencing them.
Experience what is happening around the world
Discover moments captured by people in different communities, countries, and time zones.
Explore by place and time
AweBreak is being designed to organize moments according to where and when they actually occurred, creating a continuously evolving view of sunlight moving across the world.
Follow the edges of light.
In Live View, the map shows recent shared moments near the sunrise and sunset edges of the world. The shaded day-and-night view helps place each contribution in the larger movement of light across the Earth.
Explore Time lets people move backward through earlier hours and days to revisit moments from other places and times.
Connect through shared experience
Follow contributors, discover places you may never have seen, and experience the same sunrise or sunset as someone hundreds or thousands of miles away.
Return to moments from the past
AweBreak is being designed not only around what is happening now, but also around the ability to rediscover sunrises and sunsets captured previously. Every authentic contribution becomes part of a growing record of shared moments of awe.
